Colour for the soul: A weekend full of encounters and art

Last weekend, my exhibition "Color for the Soul – Art that Connects" touched my heart in a very special way. It's always an exciting moment when I bring my acrylic paintings from the studio into a space where they encounter new eyes, new thoughts, and new feelings. The silence that sometimes arises in front of a painting, the quiet smile, a thoughtful glance – these are the most beautiful moments for me. It almost feels as if each painting has its own dialogue with the people who see it, without words, only through color, form, and atmosphere.
What particularly moved me was the openness with which the visitors embraced my art. There was no rush, no hecticness – just genuine interest and honest curiosity. It's a gift to witness how my hand-painted works, made of acrylic paint on canvas, are allowed to unfold their very own effect. The conversations were often quiet, sometimes profound, sometimes simply a shared pause in front of a painting. In moments like these, I feel that art truly connects – it creates a space where we can encounter each other without many words.
After this weekend, I'm filled with gratitude and renewed inspiration. It makes me happy to know that my art doesn't just decorate walls, but touches people. Perhaps that's exactly what drives me: to continually create something with color and emotion that will last—and that might stay with you, too.
