Terms of Participation

These terms apply to the painting course for children and the workshop “Abstract Painting” for adults booked via www.merimabesickrueger.com. The organiser is Merima Besic-Krüger, Studio Torenallee 32-28, 5617 BD Eindhoven. For kids' birthday parties and company workshops, the individual quote applies.

1. Booking and payment

You book your place in the online shop and pay when booking. Once paid, your place is firmly reserved. You will receive a confirmation by email.

2. If you need to cancel

  • Up to 7 days before the date you can cancel free of charge and receive a full refund. For the kids' course, the first session of the block counts.
  • For later cancellations a 50% cancellation fee applies, so you receive half of the price back. This also applies if you do not attend the workshop without cancelling.
  • You may send a substitute at any time. In that case no cancellation fee applies.

3. If a child misses a session of the kids' course

If a child misses one of the four sessions, I refund 50% of the price of that session. At €80 for four sessions, that is €10.

4. Minimum number of participants and cancellation by the studio

  • The adult workshop takes place with 3 or more participants, the kids' course with 3 or more children.
  • If there are too few bookings, I will cancel the date no later than 3 days in advance.
  • If I have to cancel a date, for example because of too few bookings or illness, you can choose: an alternative date or your money back.

5. Kids' course

  • The course is for children aged 8 to 16.
  • Parents bring their child to the studio and pick them up on time at the end of the session. Parents do not stay in the studio during the course.
  • Please provide a phone number when booking where you can be reached during the course, and let me know beforehand if there is anything I should be aware of, such as allergies.

6. Photos

During courses I only photograph or film people with written consent; for children, with the consent of their parents. Anyone who does not wish to be photographed will not be. Participation does not depend on it.

7. Clothing and materials

We work with acrylic paint, which does not wash out of clothing. Please wear something that may get paint on it. I accept no liability for paint stains on clothing or personal belongings. In the adult workshop, canvas, paints and tools are included in the price. You take your painting home with you.

8. Right of withdrawal

For leisure activities with a fixed date there is generally no statutory right of withdrawal. The cancellation rules under point 2 apply.
